    Club notes 29-03-11

    The seniors and reserves get their league campaign under way this Sunday with away duels against Glenswilly. The Reserves throw-in at 1.30pm while the senior contest begins at 3.
    The Donegal GAA Banquet takes place this Friday night at the Abbey Hotel. Four members of CLG Ard a Ratha will collect awards. Paddy McGrath, Conor Classon, Peter McNelis and Pat Shovlin will all pick up medals off the back of Donegal senior and U21 successes.
    The Membership window is coming to a close for the coming year and it is imperative that all players register within he next few days. Ordinary membership is currently available by contacting Ann McGhee or at Divers Shop. The Closing date for membership is 31st March.
    Club Donegal is now available for the coming year at €200. It allows you free access to all Club Games for the duration of the year. Anyone interested should contact Secretary Mary Kelly.
    The club would like to express its gratitude to John McConnell and JMAC Photography for their recent and kind sponsorship of a new kit. The white strip will be worn for the first time this Sunday.
    The Under-16 team played Four Masters on Sunday last and came away with a 2-6 to 0-5 victory in Tir Chonaill Park. Their next match is scheduled for Sunday next v Aodh Ruadh away in their next match on Sunday next at 12.pm in Tirconaill Park. They also play Dungloe on Wednesday next (4th of April) at 7pm in Pearse Memorial Park.
    The Under-14s had no joy in the Feile Blitz in Dungloe on Saturday last, losing both games to Dungloe and Naomh Conaill.
    This years Minor Board Easter Camp takes place next week from the Wednesday, April 4 until Friday, April 6. The camp is open to children from 5-14 years and each participant will receive a Club fleece top. Cost per child is €25, €40 for 2 and €50 maximum for three or more children per family. Younger Children must be attending National School to qualify to attend. A number of visiting coaches will attend the camp to assist our club coaches over the three days.     The next Minor Board fundraiser takes place on Easter Sunday night with Turbulent Eddy on stage in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel. Admission €10.
